ORT-400 Battery Operated Strapping Tool *Includes 2 Lithium batteries (18 volt) and 1 charger The great thing on the ORT-400 tool is everything is done with just the touch of 1 button in auto mode. Feeding the strap in is easier than other brands of battery banding tools because the jaws open wider. Let the lever go, and hit the go button with your thumb. Step back, in about 3 seconds the tool will accomplish the work it used to take 30 seconds and lots of cranking to accomplish! You can pull up to 900 pounds tension, or set for soft and the weld will start when the corner of the box pulls in. The length of the ORT-400 is 13.1 (334 mm). The width is 5.4 (138 mm). The height is 5.8 (148 mm). The tool runs automatically, semi-automatically, manual, or in soft corner mode (so your boxes don’t get destroyed). The tensioning speed is 6.8 inches per second. The number of straps with one battery is up to 400. This battery can be recharged up to 2000 times. The battery takes 15-45 minutes to charge. One way to tension is to press the button, in auto mode this will complete tension, weld, and cut. The other way of tensioning is to press and hold, in manual mode.
