Buckle Feeding Instructions
Step 1: Begin with the prongs of the buckle facing up and pointed to the right. Place the strap around the bundle going away from you starting at the bottom and then bring the strap back towards you on the top of the bundle. Make a loop in the end of the strap with the cut end on top. | |
Step 2: Slide the loop from the bottom through the center hole of the buckle. | |
Step 3: Slide the loop over the back prong leaving a tail of about 2 inches | |
Step 4: Repeat the same process for the front prong starting with a loop on the roll end of the strap. | |
Step 5: Slide the loop from the bottom through the center hole of the buckle. | |
Step 6: Slide the loop over the front prong and manually pull out the slack before tensioning by holding the strap that goes around the bundle in a position that is closest to you and then pulling on the roll end of the strap. |
Instructions for Using the Manual Tensioning Bar
Step 1: Thread the roll end of the strap through the tool as shown in the picture. | |
Step 2: Pull the strap tight towards you positioning the tool perpendicular to the package being tensioned. | |
Step 3: Pull the tensioning bar towards you like a lever which will move the strap through the buckle. | |
Step 4: Reposition the bar as in number two and repeat the process until desired tension is achieved. |
